Electric and Electronics Engineering (EE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) have played major roles in the development of modern society.
Toward the coming 21st century, the "fusion" of EE and ME is now required to make further progress in these technical areas.
In order to contribute to the technical development, researchers and engineers having both wide range of fundamental knowledge and deep understanding of a specific field in EE and ME are expected by various industries and research institutes.
Considering the above requirements, our department prepares a set of curriculums providing students with opportunities to learn a wide range of technical background as well as advanced knowledge and techniques in a specific technical field in Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Systems
Engineering, and Electronic Devices Engineering.
Moreover, many cooperative projects are on-going with research institutes outside the University, and with various industries to conduct the research and development of advanced technologies.
